I'm planning on having a Hafla on Saturday, February 21. All Heavy Hips members past and present are welcome and encouraged. You don't need to be currently attending practice to come on out and shake your thang! Need an excuse to wear all of those fabulous dance clothes you buy and then never get around to wearing? Then dress up! If you just want to kick it in sweats you can do that too. Just come dance. Don't want to/ can't dance right now? Bring your zills or drum and participate from the sidelines. Please bring some food and/or beverages to share. How: I'll put on a playlist and we'll dance the night away. This is not a performance evening, it's a bunch of friends and acquaintances getting up in a big group and dancing, laughing, talking, eating around the living room like a gaggle of 12 year old girls having a slumber party.
