Hi lovely ladies!

I'm so excited about dancing tomorrow night, can't wait to see all of you. Remember, bring whom ever you'd like!

Even if you haven't danced in years, come on out and kick it with us!

My Persian Classical teacher Farima Berenji, a principle dancer for Ballet Afsaneh, will be coming and I think we might persuade her to teach us some fun folkloric group dances if we ask nicely.

Also, the ceiling in the living room is rather high, so if you want to dance with a sword, cane, tray, fans, or other accessories, please feel free to bring and use them. This is a chance to try all that stuff you've been wanting to try!

I'm adding a little info on directions and such, just to clarify for everybody.
If you get lost, my cell number is (831)241-0740. Sometimes cell service is spotty at the house, so if you don't get me directly call the house at (831)722-7649.

From Santa Cruz and points North:
Take Hwy.1 South to the Freedom Blvd. exit.
Take the exit and go 6.3 miles down Freedom blvd.
At that point you should be nearing Pacific Firewood on your left.
The house is not visible from the street, and the driveway is located between 2544 Freedom Blvd. (a small blue house with a large hedge in the front) and Pacific Firewood. If you go past Pacific Firewood just flip around and come back.

From Monterey and points South:
Take Hwy. 1 to the Airport Blvd./Freedom exit.
Merge onto Larkin Valley rd. and stay slightly to the left (there are signs pointing toward Freedom, I believe).
You'll almost immediately come to a stop sign. That should be Airport Blvd. Make a left on Airport Blvd. and go approximately 1.4 miles.
You'll reach an intersection with Freedom Blvd.
Make a Left on Freedom Blvd. and go approximately 1.2 miles. Start to slow as you pass Pacific Firewood on the right. The driveway is just past Pacific Firewood.

I'll be putting out some pig shaped signs on either side of the entrance to help people find the driveway. You can park around the circle drive in front or in the back of the house.

If you have pet allergies, please be aware that there is one absolutely adorable terrier and one sweetly decrepit old kitty on the premises, so medicate up as necessary.
Also, if you have kids, and you come a little early while there's still daylight, we have llama's and a fish pond, you're more than welcome to take a gander at them down the back hill. Feel free to come as early as you'd like. If you need to finish a dish, the kitchen is quite large and has two ovens as well as an indoor grill and large burner range top with built-in wok rings.

I'm most likely making a Chicken B'stilla and some hummus. I'll also whip up a punch bowl full of Persian Sangria, bring whatever you'd like to share.
If you have any questions, call me!
