So I want some inspiration for music. I find if I hear it I am more likely to seek it out and buy it. SOO what are ya all listening and dancing to?
I have been dancing to Thievery Corporation, it is not "bellydance music" but they have some good beats for my kitchen time.

Re: What are you listening and dancing to?
Fri, November 17, 2006 - 8:05 AMI'm listening to Martin Simpson, Bird York, Kaki King, Patti Larkin - red luck, the new solo Azam Ali, the new Vas, Seven Valley's by Stellamara, Water Down the Ganges by Prem Joshua, Niyaz, the new Lungchen Llamo , Old school Dead Can Dance, old school Sheila Chandra, Returning by Jennifer Berezen before bed. Lots of french verbs and grammar and even more of Pema Chodron. Looking forward to the new Loreena McKennit. I dance to anything and everything that moves me. I listen to tons of old school classical, turkish and hungarian and romany folk music - my son Bryan is addicted to it and gets old tapes, old vinyl and anything he can find. So I heare lots of that - fabulous melodies that he learns on violin and oud and then teaches me on piano and harmonium.
I love streetlight to get music, Rachel, remember that at Streetlight you can listen to almost anything on headphones w/ a bar code and in the vast database! Gateways always has some good crossover music too and listening stations.
Blessings, p.
