We're ready to go!
On Saturday, 1/6/07 we performed for Julie's friend Ann's 80th Birthday party at an assisted care facility in Watsonville. It was quite a production for us- getting 6 of us together, coordinating schedules over the busy (and lazy) holiday seson. Morale definitely almost crashed a few times before the performance. Lessons were learned. Some were performing ATS for the first time.
But after it was all said and done, the thing that stood out the most was the joy- the joy of Ann, and the audience, the joy of our own sense of accomplishment as a group of 6- dancing for 22 minutes solid(!) and the cohesiveness and bonding we built as a group, and the appreciation for our solid foundation from Palika, for which we are FOREVER grateful.
